I’ll explain what I mean by collateral information.

When you have a lot of data about a target, especially in a high-risk area, you can use your collateral information to give it away. This is what the game’s developer, Arkane, is doing with its newly announced game, Deathloop. Collateral information is what can’t be disclosed by the game in-game, but can be revealed through in-game communication.

The game has been on sale for the past few days, but we haven’t had much of a chance to play it to see how it works. But we’ve had our minds blown by the trailer for the game, which features a few cool powers, some awesome fashion, and some cool guns. It’s definitely not for the weak of heart.

We do know that the game will be based on the idea of “collateral information,” which means that if you run into an enemy who you think has a higher intelligence, you will be able to trigger certain powers that will make them less likely to attack.
