Paula Pyers is a woman who grew up in the 70’s in the small town of Silverton, Colorado. She has spent the last 30 years in the food business and is a self professed “foodie” who has won numerous cookery awards (the “Colorado Cinque” being one) and was the co-founder of Colorado’s first food-related business, the Silverton Farmers Market.
In her kitchen she has an arsenal of ingredients and spices that make her the perfect mix of an expert cook and a home cook. She has created a number of delicious dishes that are perfect for your next party, wedding, or wedding-related event. Her best-selling product, the Paula Pyers Original Pasta, is a one-dish meal that is so easy, you can make it with ingredients that you already have at home.
Paula has also created a line of condiment jars and bowls that are perfect for creating simple dips and sauces that you can whip up for guests to take home. As you may have noticed, she has a food-focused blog on her site, and she is a regular contributor to the coloradoist.com, a weekly column that is published in coloradosgourmet.com. For just a couple of days, we were out of the house, working all day. We were getting ready to drop off the food we were preparing for breakfast. When we were in New Mexico, my husband and I had a very normal day. We went to the grocery store, shopped at the mall, and took a walk to the beach. We were out of town a long time. We were in the middle of a winter storm. We were in the middle of a snowstorm. We didn’t know where we were.
This is actually one of the main reasons that we are in the middle of a snowstorm. We live in the middle of nowhere, which may not sound like a lot, but we have no electric service, no cell service, no emergency medical service. We had no idea what was going on. As it turns out, we were in the middle of a snowstorm and there are no phone service. So we were in the middle of a snowstorm.
