We often focus on the external, or external, the things that impact our health, but let’s take a bit more time to consider the internal-internal, or internal, this is what we actually feel and think, this is our inner dialogue, or inner self. We can be very aware during the day of our inner dialogue, but there are times when we don’t have the opportunity to observe it.
Being aware of one’s inner dialogue can be very important, and it can be the most important part of our day. It’s when we are able to hear our inner dialogue that we are able to fully understand and connect with the emotions and thoughts that have been building up inside of us for years, or even decades. It’s when we actually experience the emotions that are building within us that we can be open to the possibility of change.
We can’t observe our inner dialogue and connect to its feelings, but we can learn to watch it, and we can listen to what it is saying. We can start to see that we are a bit of a broken person that has been damaged over the years. That is something that needs to be fixed for ourselves and we can start to change that.
If we can learn to see ourselves clearly, we can start to understand how our feelings are actually connected to our actions, and that we may be living in a time loop that is much like our own. This is a good thing. But we need to start looking at our inner dialogue more and start noticing what it is saying and what it is doing.
This is a great way to start. As we live in an online world, we are constantly surrounded by voices. We hear them and they are telling us what we should do, what we should not do, what we should say, what we should not say, what we should wear, what we should not wear, what we should have, and many other things we are not even aware of.
It’s time to pay attention to our inner dialogue. The voice inside that tells us what to do, what to not do, what to say, what to not say, what to wear, what to not wear… you name it, there are people who tell you it. You should pay attention to what they are saying. It is almost as if they are broadcasting your thoughts on a daily basis.
I am not sure if I am the only one who thinks of your inner dialogue as a kind of “naughty” voice. I think it is the very thing that keeps us from acting on our impulses, habits, and compulsions.
As we’ve heard, the voice inside is almost always one of discontent. Most of us probably have it right now. We have probably been guilty of a myriad of bad habits and compulsions.
This is one of the reasons why I think it’s so important to pay attention to your inner dialogue. It is the very thing that keeps us from acting on our impulses, habits, and compulsions. We are not as vigilant as we need to be to keep ourselves on track to reach our goals. The voice inside is the one that says, “You know… I’d like to get more sleep.
I know. In most cases we’ve all been told we have to exercise more, eat better, or eat more, but what if we actually didn’t exercise or eat well when we could have? What if we could have the opposite effect? What if the voice inside says, You should eat that much potbelly, you’ll gain weight, you’ll die.
